3 THINGS REVIEWS GET WRONG!
A quick review of a strap sent in by Ted at Montreux Straps. It took me a long time to finish this one. As much as I wanted this to be another glowing review for the company, I must be candid in giving my opinions.
I hate when reviews go this way! They are nice straps, but not worth the cost, in my opinion. It is just a watch strap. I do not want to pay extra for all the branded packaging I will never use again and will most likely end up in the trash.
The branding is confusing and might give the wrong impression of being a Swiss-made strap if people are not careful.
The straps are made thinner, using almost 50% less material. I would think that this would make them more inexpensive to produce. However, the higher quality of rubber may play a part here. Durability is also a question here.
The bottom line for me is that you can find plenty of options like these, in most regards identical, for far less money.
