Curious about what a winter summit of a 14er looks like? We wanted to start off the new year with a strong salute to our planet (and ourselves), so we summited Mt. Quandary in Blue River, CO on New Year’s Day…and this is what it looked like. This was Basecamp’s first 14er climb since her shoulder surgery, and a huge moral booster for the year to come.
