Leica Summilux 50mm f1.4 : a video sample in 4K
this Leica lens is probably one of the best lens we have used, and it's permanently attached onto the Monochrom. Focusing at wide open is easy, has very nice bokeh and with slight glow at f1.4.
Though this lens is made for taking still images, it is surprisingly very easy to operate during video. The lens is well balanced on the GH4, its focusing is precise and smooth. We love this lens a lot.
We feel a f1.4 is the largest aperture possible in videography, we find it extremely difficult to film at f0.95 , for example the SLR Magic Hyperprime we did earlier.
