Figs - Update from late summer 2024

In this video from September 21, 2024, I'd like to show you the current state of our fig trees. All of them are doing well, as evidenced by their phenomenal growth. Some are still producing fruit. Looking back, I can say that fruit production increases with age. I even harvested fruit from the "Brogiotto Bianco" and "Brogiotto Nero" varieties on November 4, 2024. This is, of course, very late in the year, but I can confirm that the wait is worthwhile. These fig varieties thrive in plenty of sun and warmth, making them ideal for times of climate change. I couldn't find any signs of disease, pests, or other damage caused by animals, such as browsing deer, on any of the trees shown. Therefore, we can conclude that this year has been a great success for our fig trees. I'm sure they will also survive the winter well under these conditions.
