I don't know how you lived it; maybe it was better than mine. I don't know. But after what I went through in that closed city, you're not the one to lecture me. I had real teachers, real friends, real heroes, and my first real love. Go away, all of you! With your moralizing. It couldn't get any worse than that. They did everything they could to make you live like human beings. You'll never know what really happened there. You won't be allowed to know that truth. The diary. It's all written down in the diary. The real truth, as I saw it.
