This was a fun little experiment using the awesome and infinitely inspiring Midjourney AI.
"Inspiring" is an important word, because I didn't want just to recreate the original artwork, I wanted to make something of my own. It took me around 3 hours and showed me my limitations, especially in terms of materials-making. Anyway, I will be definitely using Midjourney to inspire my future renders, it's such a powerful tool. You should try it too!
The "Matrix Cube" 3D render was made in Blender, rendered in Eevee, with some light post-production in Premiere Pro.
