Coding in RPG (IBM i/AS400). Using VARCHAR fields instead of CHAR fields
In this video, I'd like to talk about how we can improve our programs and our database, by using variable-sized character fields, instead of fixed length character fields.
I show you a few examples both in RPG programming and in the database for improving them.
