Lyrics:
The light comes in through my window as I slowly awake
From a peaceful dream I had about a far-away place
A place where all the stresses of the world just melt away
A place we could all unwind sometime just for a day
And I don't think it's too late for me to change
The path I'm on, the road is gone, it's leaving me behind
It's kinda funny how I do it to myself
I look for someone or something to blame but it's me every time
It's hard to see where you're going when all the light is gone
What did you expect when you put that blindfold on
I guess what I am saying is to learn from your mistakes
You play with fire and you'll get burnt, you'll blister and you'll ache
And I don't think it's too late for you to change
The path you're on is moving along to a dead end
It's kinda funny how we do it to ourselves
We look for someone or something to blame but it's our own fault
