These compressors use the movement of a slider to control the compressor capacity based on the load. In most screw compressors, capacity control is done by oil and hydraulic force. Oil is sent into the cylinder through solonoid valve that control the capacity.
In this cylinder, there is a piston that moves the slider with its movement. The slider moves between the male and female screws, thus reducing or increasing the inlet gas between the screws. As a result, the volume of inlet gas to the screws decreases or increases, and as a result, the capacity decreases or increases, and thus the capacity changes.
