LORE/BACKSTORY:
calypso and bill back when they were kids were inseparable. cal being the older brother made sure to help bill out when he could like singing a lullaby to help him sleep when he couldnt get shut eye.
then the fall of their realm happened. bill was just a kid, so he was afraid calypso was mad at him and went into hiding, for almost 100 years, in that time, cal was searching non stop to find his brother, he was devistated by the realm falling, but he wanted to at least make sure bill was safe and okay.
in the 100 years he was alone. he slowly lost his mind. building up the facade that he was a god that was worthy of praise and worship. when it was all just a mask to hide how he wished and yearned for someone to actually enjoy his company and make him feel whole again.
every night, calypso sings himself to sleep. that same lullaby he sang bill as a kid all those years ago. hoping his little brother is safe.
due to bill supressing the memories of the fall of his realm, he ends up forgetting about cal. not even remembering he had a brother. so when cal finally found him. bill was confused. not knowing who he was
so even after he found his brother, he was still alone
