How to install old Minecraft Launcher on Windows 10/11!

The compatibility thing is just to make the popups telling you to "download the new Microsoft store launcher just for windows 11 and windows 10" go away, if you're actually on Windows 7 or Windows 8, you don't have to do that as the launcher won't actually give you popups (since you're using the operating system that doesn't support the Microsoft store).
Your old installations and mods should reappear unless you removed them when you uninstalled the old launcher. Installing the older (and superior) launcher, should fix all BSoD issues. It's only on Windows 11, but at least the old launcher is a lot more stable than the new launcher. This will also allow you to play Minecraft offline again since the new launcher requires you to always be online which is annoying if you have spotty internet, or are going to an area without internet. I'm not sure why they removed this feature, it was so nice to play Minecraft whenever the internet would go down, it's kinda like my definitive "offline" pc game, next to Counter-Strike and Gmod. Who knows, maybe the new launcher will be a lot nicer after a few updates. The Win32 launcher is a LOT more stable than the UWP Windows Store version in my opinion (and many others on social media :P)
In my opinion, the launcher feels very rushed, and buggy. It's not very well made and has lots of issues and missing features. At least the old one still works, and it works well!
