An accessible introduction to compression and limiting in REAPER
Compressors and limiters are all over the place in all modern and classical audio production. Its most likely you'll come across tips about how to compress an instrument or your vocals, so its crucial to know what all those people are talking about. This video will give you an introduction to what compression is, what it does and the typical parameters you'll find on said hard- and software compressors. It'll also give you a live demonstration with ReaComp and ReaLimit, both stock plugins in REAPER and free too.
