Publisher Devolver Digital and All Possible Futures studio showed off full gameplay footage of the adventure game The Plucky Squire. Incidentally, it has been fully localized into Russian, including voice acting and an adapted title – "The Brave Page." However, the game's most important feature isn't that, but its stunning blend of 2D and 3D graphics. We're treated to the story of book characters who accidentally discover a three-dimensional world beyond their fairytale world on the pages – and even enter it. However, these images remain flat, creating the opportunity for a variety of extremely interesting visual solutions. The scene alone, where the hero walks along a rope of flags, immediately makes you want to learn more about the game. Fortunately, the new video does just that. In it, you'll watch the protagonist, Ocherk, embark on a quest to find a magical bow, transitioning from a 2D to a 3D world, battling the villain Grumpy's minions, solving puzzles, engaging in turn-based RPG combat, and, of course, shooting with precision. "The Plucky Squire" will be released on September 17th on PC, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
