In a global and interdependent world, promoting global citizenship is essential to enable citizens to understand that their individual and collective actions have a global impact.
We believe that Global Citizenship plays an important role in Our future to be a peaceful, fair and sustainable world and it should be at the heart of the new global development agenda.
During the European Development Days 2015, we strengthened discussions about global citizenship and promoted its implementation into the 4th goal of Sustainable Development Goals during a session "Global citizens can change the world" co-organised together with CIVICUS, GENE and ALDA.
