“Hey my name is Josephine Skriver. I’ve always been super competitive with myself and once I set a goal, I got to go for it. If you want to reach for the stars one of the things you mention is Sports Illustrated. Seeing how Sports Illustrated has evolved over the years and just ben so forward thinking and so embracing and everything I want in a modeling industry to stand for. Never forget modeling is what you do, it’s not who you are. I want a girl to be able to look at herself in a magazine and see herself and I feel like Sports Illustrated has manage to include anyone and everybody. I’m just so grateful to be part of that group now. Being like you know what I stand behind every woman in this magazine. I think it’s amazing what we’re standing for and I just want everybody to love themselves exactly who they are.”
