The first Smog Free Tower opens in Abu Dhabi
Studio Roosegaarde collaborated with Environment Agency Abu Dhabi to enhance air quality in the Emirates. The Smog Free Tower uses ionisation technology to capture pollution and create a clean air park. What a journey after introducing it to China, Netherlands, South Korea and Poland.
From the captured smog particles we designed Smog Free Rings as a tangible souvenir. By sharing a Smog Free Ring you donate 1000m3 of clean air to the city.
