Are We Alone in the Universe? - Oleg Verkhodanov
This lecture is devoted to one of the most discussed topics in terrestrial civilization,
especially in the last 70 years. During this time, the problem of searching for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) has become a scientific field.
The lecture discusses the history of the development of this field of astronomy,
which intersects with other sciences, and modern approaches to solving SETI problems. Possible reasons why we still see no signs
of extraterrestrial intelligence are discussed.
