360 Product Photography, also referred to as 360 product spin photography captures a series of still frames (stop motion) over a 360-degree rotation of a product then combines these frames into a single player to give a rotating 360 product view. Typically it is suggested to shoot between 36 and 72 frames per 360 rotation - that is one product image captured every 5 or 10-degrees. This will provide a smooth, professional looking 360 product photography output.
In this video, we communicate 360 Product Photography using an Iconasys 360 Product Photography Turntable. When using the turntable with Shutter Stream 360 Product Photography Software and a compatible camera, the 360 product photography process is completely automated integrating turntable movement (start, stop) with image capture, automatically uploading images into the application following capture. We walk through the editing, output and the 360 product view creation process. The end result is web-ready 360 product photography.
