SF Sensory Pop-Up Kit
Santa Fe College’s Disabilities Resource Center (DRC) purchased items to design a Sensory Pop-Up Kit. The pop-up kit is used to create sensory spaces and sensory rooms. The rooms include relaxing lighting, fidget items, interactive tools, and comfortable furniture designed to help students manage stress. Sensory rooms are a valuable universal design strategy, helping both neurodivergent as well as neurotypical students.
