Somerset Inclusion Tool: Valuing SEND information session
Chloe and Fi talk about the Somerset Inclusion Tool, including where it came from and how it works in practice. Valuing SEND was developed by three local authorities with schools, parent carers and IMPOWER. It is designed to help schools to better understand and meet the needs of their children with SEND, and to help them improve their whole-school SEND readiness. It will be used across Somerset schools moving forward and could make a real difference to children and young people in Somerset. Involvement of parent carers in using Valuing SEND is absolutely key.
