I frequently get asked, Mr Dunn how do you put wasps where you need them in your apiary? Well, here is the demonstration of how I can collect and relocate a wasp nest.
I have an ongoing experiment which involves displacing yellow jacket wasps with the "friendlier" Northern Paper Wasps - my theory which is currently inconclusive - is that since the paper wasps don't tolerate the yellow jacket wasps, I'll actually encourage paper wasp nests in and around the areas where I keep bees.
They also do a great job of removing garden pests. Tent caterpillars don't have a chance!
Handle with care, they are very passive, but can deliver a sting when you least expect it.

Allow the glue to cool near the end of its "working temp" then put your paper nest in it.
