Does it Snow in Seattle, Washington? Thinking of moving or relocating to Seattle, Washington and wondering about our weather?
Many people who are thinking about moving to Seattle, WA enjoy the idea of moving to Seattle because they think it will never snow here. They are looking forward to leaving behind snowy states like Michigan or Minnesota and coming to the mild climate of the Pacific Northwest.
Usually the Seattle climate gets a bad wrap and people look up figures concerning our precipitation with a concern over the number o finches of rain we might get each year.
Truth be told, we DO get some snow in Seattle, but for the most part, that's a good thing. Must Seattleites love our snowy days and don't end up going anywhere when it snows, except the nearest sledding hill.
However, if you love the snow, and there's not enough for you down by the sound, make like many skiers and snowboarders and head up to the cascade mountains where you can hit Snoqualmie or Steven's pass in search of the white stuff!
