When circumstances unfold "as if by luck," a person often feels like they're falling into an abyss of uncontrollable chaos.
At different levels of their Sacred Wound, a person will interpret such a painful interference in their plans differently. You may see it as a personal curse or a fateful act of destiny, blaming the people around you for interfering with your normal life, or reproaching yourself for your shortcomings, and so on.
In their dreams, hopes, and visions of life, a person desperately tries to create harmony and order. But as soon as they take a step, a thousand unforeseen situations immediately swoop in, ruining their perfectly planned scenario.
Throughout the history of civilization, we see people attempting to build a special relationship with chaos. It's no coincidence that this phenomenon is represented in all cultures in the form of demons, evil spirits, and other representatives of "darkness." The so-called "dark side" has formed the basis of many systems that explore the shadowy unconscious part of man from various angles, from shamanism to psychoanalysis.
If we look at the original meaning of the word "chaos" (from the Greek χάος), we translate it as "primordial space." In ancient Greek mythology, chaos personifies the primordial state of the Universe, from which the first deities emerged. Thus, chaos is not the enemy of order but its nourishing foundation.
Since modern people have not been taught to understand themselves (and others), and they build life plans (or dreams) not based on their true, deepest needs, but rather on the principle of the film "The Secret"—what I like is what I want—then the subconscious program, whose task is to return them to themselves, is presented to them primarily as this very evil: destroying their plans and/or preventing them from being realized.
Any psychologist or therapist is familiar with the situation where a client complains of the impossibility or inability to realize something they've set out to do, and you clearly see that their own soul is holding them back—because it understands that by reaching their goal (or even by simply trying to achieve it), they will cripple it (along with the rest of themselves).
In professional jargon, a program that wants to return a person to their own source and prevents them from drinking from others is called a "personal demon."
In reality, this is a personal angel who prevents a person from turning their life into a surrogate. However, given the modern person's disgraceful attitude toward themselves and their needs, and their tendency to fall for flashy candy wrappers, this angel's primary concern has long been breaking the invented or instilled stilted constructs upon which their master/mistress attempts to build their life. Therefore, the average person is deeply convinced that their life, plans, and dreams are constantly being disrupted by some personal demon, sent to them personally, preventing them from earning money, finding or retraining a partner, building a career, improving relationships with others, buying what they desire, and achieving their dreams.
In essence, we have a situation similar to Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf:
— take the firebird, but leave the cage alone!
