Lud's Church
Short film featuring author and Peak District folktale collector Mark Henderson introducing the folktale associated with the dramatic rocky chasm of Lud's Church, near Gradbach, Staffordshire in the South West Peak. The folktale centres on a group of 'Lollards' - religious dissenters - who worshipped there back in the 14th-century and who faced persecution from the ruling elite on account of their religious beliefs. The film was made thanks to a grant from the South West Peak Community Grants Scheme.
