Aviation incident: Stupid helico pilot almost chopping PG pilot
an example what harm can do a stupid helico pilot, not willing to pay necessary attention to other pilots in the air traffic.
it happened during an official air show, where, unfortunately, the commercial fligths of the passengeres were done at the same time with the demo flights, on the same space.
paragliding&basejump demo went well, firstly, as you can see from the first part of the footage.
after the airdrop and secure opening of the base canopy, the tandem pilot is also qoing to descend quicker.
a chopper was still pretty far away, it is not nearly/dangerously visible on the vid as well as for the PG pilot, as it should be.
but...
0047 you see the shadow of the helico on the long grass field, used for PG towing.
0051 it is already much nearer, on the same course, still moving towards the quickly descending paraglider.
0055 the helico shadow is already quite near, on the airfield strip...
at the same time, during that descent, the paraglider was horizontally almost on the same spot.
it was a scary moment for all onlookers, not to speak about the participants concerned. airshows should be events of fun and excitement, not tragedy, shouldn't they?

0108ff it can be detected the helico was pretty normally away during the PG towing, before and during the base jump.
it was just the intention of the helico pilot to come for landing in between of the (almost) landed skydiver and still in the air paraglider.
what a stupid determideness! just counting each second of that helico money, nothing else?
