Mbeya paragliding
In Tanzania, the best area for paragliding is definitely Lushoto.
But, down in the south, Mbeya is also worth visiting.
The very best flying site is Mount Mbeya, shown here. It is a longer hike-and-fly trip, better to be started from Lunji Coffee Farm - lunjiestates.com. (All takeoff and flying directions possible.)
As an easier option, there is also a good takeoff quite in Mbeya city, 1 hour or a bit more of hike from the Catholic Cathedral, to the Cross on the hill and a bit beyond. (With SW-W winds.)
Landing can be well done in City Garden, plenty of space and well visible.
One more area is a bit NE of Mbeya, at Chunyua Road B345 Antennas or, a bit further. (With E-S winds.) Better go go there with mototaxi.
