Post-op top surgery scar care for the trans guys, non binary people and others out there looking to help their scars.

1. Make sure it's actually as scar. NO scabbing, bleeding, or open areas.
2. Apply a salve to it daily, the one in the video is one I make for my small business DR DHT. It's 100% natural, organic, vegan, and made to help fade, soften and flatten scars.
3. Massage it daily with your choice of oil or salve. This is important, especially in the months following surgery. It helps clear out hard, inflamed tissue and prevent the scar from anchoring to your body, causing tightness.
You can also use a massage tool to help. I also offer these on my small business's shop.
4. Use silicone scar strips, especially in the months following surgery. This helps prevent it from turning into raised keloid scars as it helps the scar not overproduce collagen (which leads to raised scars.) I also have these on my shop.
5. Use a reputable sunblock when your scars are out in the sun. Sun can darken them.
6. Avoid reaching overhead in the months following surgery. My surgeon recommended that I don't reach my elbows higher than my head for 6 months post-op. Helps prevent the scar from widening and stretching.
