For once in my life actually feel proud of me, I actually feel that I am actually worth something and deserve to live a life that's full, you know, and be happy. I'm nearly 18 months clean and 18 months clean next week.
I'm going to be a year clean and sober in about three weeks time it is. And every day gets better for me.

And I'll be doing this for nearly 15 years. And I'm still astounded at the changes that people are able to make when they're given the right treatment. Most clients who come to us in their feedback and their evaluations often cited for the first time in their lives, they feel understood.

I've worked with a lot of addicts. I've been through treatment myself, I'm recovering drug addicts and alcoholics. And my experience of treatment of various treatment facilities. I felt they left a bit to be desired, really. And I wanted to do something where clients felt cared for
where we were kind to them and took them seriously.

It didn't matter what I did. You know, they were always there for me and that as an addict is priceless. Because you don't get that on the outside. I came from the darkest ever place really to be honest, there was absolutely no
hope whatsoever.
As soon as we walked in that door, the unconditional love that will show by every single member of the staff in that building?

The admission process, the referral process of Providence is really really simple. You know, from that first call, people are often in rehab within 48 hours, or the Providence project we have a very intensive structured timetable consisting of a variety of one on one counselling sessions, group therapy, sessions, workshops and groups, not just on addiction, but we're looking at relationships, we're looking at stress management, family therapy, We also do a lot of work on low self esteem. Low confidence, many of the clients that come to us they got huge egos, but no self esteem whatsoever. And it's very important that they realise that they're good people.

I just didn't know how to live without using drugs or alcohol. So needed, I needed them guidelines, and I needed the boundaries
You know, to put down the drink and drugs was one thing but to learn and learn so much about yourself. And, and there's so much work on yourself was massive for me.
Because I didn't really know who I was when I walked into the Providence. And as time went on, I realised I was achieving something I'm moving forward.
It was as if I've got a partner back you know somebody that was willing to be a partner in our lives rather than somebody that was just blocking everything out for your time.

But providence projects is a life-saving machine, a very well oiled machine that if you walk through them doors and give yourself a chance, I guarantee you that you can stay clean and anything's possible with them, you know, just trust him.
Because I see many people and if you want recovery, you'll get recovery there. I've seen many people going through them doors and been really successful in their lives, nobody that goes in there has to use ever again
Change my life, you know, it was down to the provenance project that the
gave me my life back, You know, not only me, my partner, my mom, my grandparents are the people that are, you know, my children. My family had their Dad back you know, and every day gets better for me.
If there are people out there that are struggling, Then you know, I never thought that there was a way out of the mess that I was in continually doing the same thing day in day out day in day out and the feeling of inside when you're you know you're doing the wrong wrong thing.

So many people say that when they think about their time back at Providence projects their memories for the first time and you having that real belly laugh with I just lost you know through the through the grips of addiction.

The people that I met the workers counsellors in the province are the best people I've ever met. You know they saved my life and marriage but they saved hundreds and hundreds of countless amounts of other people's

like the cycle of their addiction and have a life And it's just miraculous absolutely miraculous. And for anyone can go with the white help anybody can do it anyone can be I really believe anyone can beat their addiction like a be alcoholism person when I say beta it i mean come to terms with and break the cycle of it and live a life full of quality.
