Solo Guest Panel with Richard Su, Software Engineer @ Google
Today, we had Richard Su stop by to talk about his experiences as a software engineer at Google, and the work he put in during his college years and previous work experience in healthcare that led him to get into software development in Google. While having not experienced major challenges, he discussed about his and his colleagues remained positive even during the current global pandemic.
Su graduated with degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Music from the University of Iowa in 2017. He previously worked on the Daydream virtual reality (VR) headset and also worked at a startup based on patient data and healthcare. He currently is on the Google Maps team hoping to improve the experience and navigation of places for iOS users all around the world to get to their destination.
