File Permission on Linux
Using the 'chmod' command to confer a permission mask on a file in Linux helps to make your system secure. Choose a mask that gives users the permissions that they need but prohibits specified access to those who do not need it to do their job. Two methods are discussed: Symbolic and Numeric.
