Cousins Gwyn and Qwynn rush home to Aunt Matilda to no doubt spill the tea on the impromptu encounter at the party. Aunt Matilda is livid at the thought of her no-good niece mingling with the affluent folk, but is taken aback when Gigi Ella rushes home herself and begins to spew about Cousin Lynn's disinterest in parties, and other "lady like" activities.
In anger Aunt Matilda slaps Gigi Ella fiercely across the face, stunning the poor girl, and demands that she removes the dress she perceives as stolen. Now in mere rags, Aunt Matilda drags Gigi Ella by the hair and puts her in the uppermost chamber of her lavish home.
