This firmware reset allows us to refill toner cartridges an unlimited number of times, extending their lifespan as long as the appropriate maintenance is performed on each cartridge with each refill. This increases the average print volume by 1,000 to 2,000 pages. While toner cartridges are typically designed to print an average of 10,000 pages, they can now print an average of 11,000 to 12,000 pages.
With proper maintenance, each toner cartridge can be reused up to 8 times, yielding approximately 80,000 pages. This also results in significant environmental savings by reducing plastic waste, as the high-quality cartridge casings can be reused.
