How to choose Right colours for your project?
There are so many rules/theories around colours that you are already overwhelmed thinking about where to start. And so you start by understanding the value of colour. Let me tell you that it's the value that does all the magic in your colours. How? By setting up the right contrast, by popping the Hero element and blending the rest with it.
Value is your brightness of hue/colour. So, you can keep the same hue but their value might differ. And that's the core of everything. Everything in colours is played by the rules of value.
But the big question - How do you vary the value? The hue and saturation affect the value, but a lot of contrast can be created by varying the brightness. And that's how you become a magician with colours by simply understanding the value.
