Types alone can make the design look stand out. It can get intimidating when you have a little experience with them. To make it less complex let's break down the whole process into simpler steps.
1. Grab inspiration - The more time you spend on research the less time it's gonna take to create. You can literally take inspiration from other people. So, hop on to sites like Pinterest, Behance or google itself and save ideas based on your projects.
2. Look for Visual Hierarchy - As a designer, you have the power to direct the viewer's eyes. Keep in mind where you want the viewers to pay the most attention and then from there where you want to move their attention. To make this process simpler, choose typefaces or fonts from a large family.
3. Avoid pairing typefaces that are too similar - Your goal should be to create harmony in your design but similar typefaces can do the opposite. Best fonts that go together.
4. Limit the number of fonts - The best designers use the same fonts over and over again. if you're a beginner use the most famous fonts. There is a reason these fonts are the most common ones.
