How Did They Create Yoshi's Island? Mario's Jump from Pixel to Legend (Episode 5)
It was 1995, when Chrono Trigger, one of the most epic RPGs in history, was created by a dream team of role-playing games and anime. It was released for the Super Famicom in Japan and later that same year in America. Another epic role-playing game, better known as Mother 2 in Japan, was now released in America under the name EarthBound. Meanwhile, a new installment of Super Mario World, starring Yoshi, featured a very colorful, hand-drawn art style that broke all stereotypes in video game creation and stood head-to-head with the graphically sophisticated titles of the time.
