Located in Moscow in the Bitsevsky Forest, along Sevastopolsky Avenue, the slope is a favorite place for spending winter weekends. There is no definite name - "Narrow", "Yasenevo", "Sevastopolsky prospect". These are all names for one slope. The close location and the ability not to move far from home allows you to enjoy skiing quite often.
The slope was created artificially in the mid-80s from parts of the foundations of abandoned buildings in the Yasenevo district. Subsequently, it was used in winter for skiing, and then converted into a ski center. In case of low precipitation, an artificial snowmaking system is used. At the ski center, a system has been developed for training beginners and accompanying the training of professional athletes with subsequent certification. The winter sports area is important for those who are constantly engaged in skiing or snowboarding, as trips to ski resorts are time-consuming and require high costs for documents, coaches and medical support.
There are 3 tracks, a training track - a gentle descent, with safety ropes; mountain bike trail - goes deep into the Bitsevsky forest; The slalom trail, the steepest slope with detour marks, is intended for professional athletes and admission to this trail is carried out in separate groups under the supervision of doctors and instructors. On these tracks, city and national events and competitions are organized. Only 3 lifts: for children; cable car with drag lifts. This makes it possible to avoid queuing on weekends.
The trails run until dark and are well lit at night. The tracks are constantly maintained and leveled for smooth glide.
The slope is provided as a place for the whole family to spend the day off and train before the competition. Therefore, there is especially no entertainment area.There is a cafe and the opportunity to ride snowmobiles. This is especially interesting during the period of heavy snowfall. Extreme sports festivals and competitions are periodically organized, where the young generation shows their capabilities and skills. After skiing, vacationers have fun with standard snowballs and a molded snowman.
