Natural home made cordage … even if it snaps you may still be able to use it… I prefer this way of using natural cordage with a shorter bow to coax the ancestral fire out of hiding …as you can easily adjust the tension of the cord with your hand … And with natural own made cord I find it’s best not to have it ultra tight otherwise it won’t last long… that’s why this piece snapped in the first place.
