Monitoring in The Meadoway
With the support of the Weston Family Foundation, The Meadoway Project was initiated - a massive effort to create a vibrant 16 km stretch of urban greenspace connecting 7 river and ravine systems, 15 parks, 16 km of trail, 13 neighbourhoods, over 101 ha of meadow and more than 1,000 diverse species of flora and fauna.
The Meadoway is also connecting the conservation community. TRCA’s “Blueprint for Naturalizing
Infrastructure Corridors” is an industry-leading, science-based “how to” that will guide others looking
to implement similar projects.
