Panasonic GH3 Audio and Microphone Test
How to get good audio on your dslr. If you're looking at the best audio for your Dslr - here's a little test we did to find the best settings and microphones.
Audio shootout on the Panasonic GH3.
We tested the following microphones:
GH3 on board microphone
Sennheiser MKE400 mini-shotgun
Audio-Technica AT35S Wired Lapel Microphone
Sennheiser EW-100 G3 Wireless Lapel Microphone
Audio-Technica 897 Short Shotgun
And the JuicedLink Preamp
Our conclusion is that the Audio-Technica 897 Shotgun with the JuicedLink sounds the best on the GH3. But we were surprised with the quality of sound from the Sennheisers and the 897 directly plugged into the GH3.
