I wrote this with my good buddy Christian Hale over the Zoom app during the first week of quarantine a few weeks ago. We wanted to create something hopeful and positive to help us and everyone else get through this.
My wife and I recorded all the vocals in our guest bedroom, I tracked guitars and bass, Miles McPherson recorded drums, and Christian did a phenomenal job producing, mixing, and mastering!
Through all of this craziness, the first responders and essential workers (Nurses, Doctors, Therapists, Pharmacists, Military, Bankers, Truck Drivers, Grocery Store Workers, Etc.) have risked their own health on the frontlines to help save others... and that means the world to me!
So my wife Alyssa had an idea to send out a post asking for pictures of First Responders.... I received HUNDREDS! It was truly overwhelming.
So I called up our good friend Sarah Elizabeth to put together this video! We did our very best to feature everyone - there were just so many!
And now, here we are... in a puddle of tears on the floor haha!
