Gruesome Body Horror - Corruption and Guardians - Dead Space (2023 Remake) Analysis + Some Lore
I decided to make a video about "Corruption" in the 2023 Dead Space Remake. It is the fleshy, organic growth that is found all throughout Dead Space...I think it is a very cool environmental thing, with a lot of cool details! I also briefly wanted to cover the Guardians, since they are always attached to Corruption (although I will most likely do a separate video taking a closer look at them too).
There is a surprising amount of cool, and gruesome, details that the remake has added to the Corruption! I hope that you will find this video entertaining, or interesting, and that maybe you might see some details that you didn't notice before :)
I really enjoy and appreciate Body Horror, and think that there is something gruesomely beautiful about these types of designs in media. I hope to share this passion for Body Horror with others by making videos like this!
By the way, my personal favorite Body Horror movie is The Thing (1982)! If you enjoy this type of creature design, then I'm fairly certain you would also enjoy that movie, so maybe check it out if you feel like it! Many of the designs in Dead Space and other horror games are heavily inspired by the designs in The Thing :D
