Neurodiverse Friends - Schizophrenic SKIT
Welcome back to "Neurodiverse Friends" with Pixi & co. - Cats on the Spectrum! This time we delve into the complex and often misunderstood world of Schizophrenia. This mental health condition affects reality perception, with experiences such as illusions (distorted reality) and hallucinations (mind fabrications) that are usually visual but can also involve other senses. Schizophrenia has three phases: the 'prodromal phase', showing subtle changes in behavior and thoughts; the 'active phase', where symptoms become more pronounced; and the 'residual phase', where symptoms may fade but challenges persist. Through my animation, I aim to bring awareness to the daily experiences of those living with Schizophrenia. I hope you enjoy it.
