BOILER ROOM - Denver, CO - Episode 1
Ben and I found ourselves in Denver, CO for work. We check into our Air BnB and see a drum kit, a 24 channel mixer, a P.A system (including a sub), drum mics, cables, and stands!
The Air BnB is called "Upstairs at Eric's." GET THERE!
We were bangin' dubstep tunes & having sheds all 5 days we were there. Ben on his DJ rig, me on the kit. I had my laptop to control the DAW (Logic Pro X) out of the mixer. It was an analog mixer so we used Amazon Now to deliver a 2 channel FocusRite digital interface to run it to my computer.
DJ Rig to mixer, mixer to PA & FocusRite, FocusRite to my laptop with all drums in the left channel and the DJ set in the right channel. With mono mixes of both instruments, I duplicated the drums and panned em' L&R about 15% and panned the DJ set L&R 100%.
