Margaret Odera and Brenda Otiendo work as community health workers and mentor mothers in Nairobi, Kenya. They help pregnant women live healthy lives and keep their babies HIV negative.
Both women were spurred on to do this work after their own experiences of facing stigma as pregnant mothers with HIV.
In this video, Margaret and Brenda share their own experiences, as well as advice for healthcare professionals on creating inclusive environments that reduce stigma and help women access the care they need.
