I this 3ds max lecture, we will discuss how to do navigation in 3ds max. Use the middle mouse button to pan the viewport, the scroll wheel to zoom in and out, and hold the alt and middle mouse buttons to orbit around the scene. Alternatively, you can use the navigation controls in the viewport's lower right corner.
3ds Max has several built-in views, including front, left, right, top, and perspective and you can use shortcuts L, R, T, and P You can also access these views by clicking on the viewport label and selecting the view you want.
