Sick Abroad - In the next video I'm going to introduce you to the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia (or Lapakosha in Turkish), and I'll give you lots of recommendations, tips and useful information for a successful visit there:
Weather, attractions, food, sites, where it is, entertainment, cafes, what to do there for travelers / tourists or with children, shopping, what kind of vacation in Cyprus can you do there, the history of the city and more.
Of course, we'll also briefly talk about the conflict between Greek Cyprus and Turkey / Turkish Cyprus (also known as Northern Cyprus or the Turkish Federal State of Cyprus) and why as Israelis with good relations with Greek Cyprus (and in light of the recent bad relations we've had with Turkey under Erdogan's auspices after October 7) I recommend you not to go there (which makes this video my most "political" video to date!) But of course it's up to you and your personal judgment, this is just my opinion My personal opinion as someone who lives and works in Paphos and "Greek" Cyprus.
