You can not only send DMs, but you can also create a group conversation just like in WhatsApp. Here’s how -
Click on the name of the person you want to add to the conversation header.
Go to 'Add people to this conversation’ and type the person's name you want to add.
You have the option to choose whether you want to show the conversation history or not. And click 'Done'.
