This was in the latter part of the 2020. I wasn't entirely confident in my ability to conquer the merciless world of "Dark Souls", so I decided to venture into something that seemed similar but perhaps a tad easier. That’s how I picked “Lords of the Fallen (2014)”. Little did I know, this decision would soon prove to be a grave mistake. This game had a combat system that moved at a snail's pace, making each encounter feel like an eternity. Adding to my woes was my rather limited knowledge of RPG mechanics.
I was lost, no idea about the right build or anything. I resorted to hacking and slashing my way through, putting together a chaotic mishmash of abilities and gear.
Can’t believe I fat-rolled through out the game LOL. I wasn't sure if it was my fault or not, but my weapons didn't seem to be dealing enough damage to make progress any easier. Navigating the world without a fast travel mechanism was an additional challenge, especially for a newbie like me. Three playthroughs, about a hundred hours in, and I finally platinumed it.
