Adventures in the Forgotten Realms is Magic the Gathering's most recent booster set, and the first of its kind: a crossover between Dungeons & Dragons and the core mechanics of Magic. In my eyes, this was an incredibly successful experiment. But what made this Magic and D&D crossover so effective? We're going to venture into the dungeon to discuss the game design philosophies and goals of the design teams that created this behemoth of a set, today, on Draw 5 Move 5!
Thanks for watching! I'd love to hear your thoughts, so let's keep this discussion rolling down in the comments. Like if you enjoyed, subscribe for more, and ding-a-ling that notification bell so you never miss an update!
Go have a good game!
