Women in Leadership: Supporting Diversity Within a SDO
Danielle McGeary, VP of HTM, and April Leibo, Founder of the HTM Women in Leadership Society, recently spoke with leaders at TRIMEDX, discussing how the HTM service delivery organization is working to address the field's diversity gaps.
The healthcare technology management (HTM) industry has long been a male-dominated workforce. TRIMEDX understands the need for diverse talent, female leaders, allies, and advocates and is making it a priority.
Danielle McGeary, AAMI's vice president of HTM, and April Lebo, founder of the HTM Women in Leadership Society, spoke with Henry Hummel, TRIMEDX chief executive officer; Kristi McDermott, TRIMEDX chief operating officer; and Dawn Griffin, TRIMEDX chief human resources and diversity officer, to discuss their efforts in creating a culture that encourages hiring and promoting women in HTM.
TRIMEDX has dedicated programming and engagement opportunities to educate, train, and reinforce its dedication to women in leadership.
Recently, it launched a Women in TRIMEDX series focusing on topics important to women in the workplace and helping them connect with other women in leadership.
It also educates men and allies on the many benefits of having women in the HTM community and how they enrich the talent pool in the workforce & leadership positions.
